AACE Elects Shoshanna Fraizinger as President-Elect to Board of Directors

Three-year term offers opportunity to enhance cost engineering resources


March 30, 2021 – The Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) has elected Sargent & Lundy’s Shoshanna Fraizinger, CCP, PMP, as president-elect of the Board of Directors. Fraizinger is a project manager at Sargent & Lundy, supporting the firm’s nuclear power business. She will serve a three-year term – one year each as president-elect, president, and past president. The elected position recognizes her notable leadership and participation in AACE’s sub-committees, special interest groups, recommended practices, membership and online learning initiatives, and volunteer efforts.

AACE International works to enhance the skills and knowledge of its members to improve the predictability of cost and schedule performance across the entire life cycle of an organization’s assets, programs, and projects. The organization provides technical guidance, educational products, events, and accredited professional certifications. Its 7,000 members work in a variety of disciplines and industries in over 100 countries.

Fraizinger’s primary goal in her elected role is to implement the formal recommendations of a recent AACE strategic planning task force. This includes supporting and strengthening the Association’s Certification, Technical, and Education Associate Boards; improving member value and communication across the organization; and promoting AACE’s value proposition to a wider audience.
