Sargent & Lundy Donates to Bruce Power Charitable Events Sponsorship Program

Twenty-six nuclear suppliers give to organizations during pandemic


July 15, 2020 – Bruce Power, a Canadian nuclear utility, recently rallied members of its supply chain behind collaborative philanthropy. Sargent & Lundy was one of 26 companies involved in the Charitable Events Sponsorship Program, donating $12,000 to the cause. Bruce Power consolidated the companies’ donations, then distributed the funds across causes related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The project raised $381,500 for the following organizations:

  • Saugeen Ojibway Nation Youth Leaders in Training.
  • United Way of Bruce Grey.
  • Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
  • Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario.
  • Huron Shores Hospice.
  • Wounded Warriors Canada.
  • Royal Canadian Legion.
  • Miscellaneous food banks local to Bruce Power.
