June 23, 2021 – Sargent & Lundy has once again earned high distinctions in the notable industry ranking of engineering, architectural, and environmental design firms by Engineering News-Record (ENR).
Published annually, ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms list ranks the 500 largest U.S.-based publicly- and privately-held design firms based on design-specific revenue. The 2021 list places Sargent & Lundy’s rank across multiple categories as follows:
- Top 500 Design Firms, No. 36
- Top 50 Designers in International Markets, No. 35
- Top 100 Pure Designers, No. 23
- Top 20 in Power, No. 4
A trusted source of industry data, ENR has consistently recognized Sargent & Lundy in its annual Top 500 Design Firms report since the list was first introduced in 1965. This year, the firm rose in rank across two categories – Top 500 Design Firms and Top 20 in Power.
Sargent & Lundy is proud of its high ranks during a year in which the COVID-19 pandemic shifted many aspects of its culture and operations. The resiliency of its employees played a key role in maintaining – and raising – its ranks within industry categories.
This year’s rankings were published in ENR’s April 26-May 3 issue, which also details how design firms are facing the continuing challenges of COVID-19, specifically in the areas of technology, remote work, diversity, the talent gap, and the uncertainty of the future.
