Sargent & Lundy Helps Bring Night Games to Kincardine Soccer Leagues

Giving back to the local communities where we work and live

Kincardine Soccer Lights Project

August 10, 2018 - Sargent & Lundy’s Kincardine, Ontario office was thrilled to participate in a recent endeavor benefitting the local community.  The Kincardine Soccer Field Lighting Project brought together resident businesses and community organizations to provide lights for area soccer fields. As local interest in the sport grows, youth and adult soccer leagues are now able to schedule night games and maximize use of the fields.

“This was a great demonstration of how the public and private sectors can work together to improve the quality of life in the communities in which we live and work,” said Sargent & Lundy Vice President and Project Director Brian Jelke.

Local electrical contractor eMc led the project and gained support from other local Bruce Power service providers, including Sargent & Lundy. Together, these business leaders teamed up to collect funding to install lights at the Bruce Avenue soccer fields.

Members of the participating businesses gathered to celebrate the completion of the project. Among other local business leaders, notable attendees included CEO of Bruce Power Mike Rencheck.
