February 7, 2023 – The Nuclear Energy Institute has elected Sargent & Lundy Chairman, President, and CEO Vic Suchodolski to its 2023 board of directors. NEI is an industry led, member driven organization whose mission is to promote the use and growth of nuclear energy through efficient operations and effective policy.

NEI, which was founded in 1994 and is based in Washington, D.C., serves as “the voice of the U.S. nuclear industry.” It is governed by a board of directors consisting of representatives from nuclear utilities, major nuclear suppliers, and advanced nuclear technology companies.

Sargent & Lundy has supported the nuclear industry since 1954, helping clients deliver clean, carbon-free energy. The firm offers various services to support new nuclear unit design as well as currently operating nuclear units.
