Eric Back to present strategies to support the transition toward electric vehicles and transportation


November 16, 2021 – Eric Back of Sargent & Lundy will be presenting an informational session, “Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure,” at the Energy 2021 conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The presentation will take place November 18 from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. AST.

An accomplished professional in the electric vehicle and transportation sector, Back will specifically focus on:

  • Current and future policies needed to drive electric vehicle adoption in sync with grid planning.
  • Energy strategies for government, utilities, and the private sector to support the transition toward electric vehicles and transportation.
  • The merits and importance of integrating renewables, storage, and EV charging technologies to meet future energy demand.

The Energy 2021 conference will cover topics including renewable energy, energy efficiency, hydropower, and their impact on Puerto Rico’s transition to renewable energy. The conference is expected to draw manufacturers, electrical charge port developers, electrical grid operators, utilities, city planners, and policymakers to discuss the robust electrical infrastructure and charge ports necessary to meet the needs of a new generation of electric vehicles.
