Eric Soderlund discusses aspects of renewables in plant life extension


February 16, 2021 – POWERGEN+ is hosting a free virtual panel discussion entitled “Asset Management for Plant Life Extension” on February 18 at 2:30 p.m. CT. The session will tackle a major issue facing the electricity generation industry – asset management to keep conventional and renewable facilities operating longer and more efficiently.

The panel will feature Sargent & Lundy Vice President Eric Soderlund, who will share the firm’s vast experience in utility-scale plant life refurbishment, conversion, and expansion. He will specifically focus on wind project repowering, while panelists from other power industry engineering and equipment firms will discuss fossil and nuclear plant experience.
