Top Workplaces USA Recognizes Sargent & Lundy With Culture Excellence Award

The recognition is based on employee feedback regarding compensation and benefits

April 29, 2022 –Top Workplaces USA has recognized Sargent & Lundy with a 2022 Culture Excellence Award for compensation and benefits. This recognition highlights employees’ sentiment toward Sargent & Lundy’s compensation packages and policies as captured in an anonymous employee engagement survey facilitated by third-party research partner, Energage, LLC.

This recognition is a reflection of the active efforts Sargent & Lundy takes to ensure its status as a competitive employer and great place to work. For example, the firm participates in an engineering construction compensation forum that provides Sargent & Lundy the ability to benchmark itself across the industry and helps inform compensation-based decisions. While these efforts take place “behind the scenes,” the engagement survey results show they are integral in contributing to the culture of excellence for which the firm strives.

“This differentiation is more important than ever in today’s tight labor market. Recognition is no longer just a cause for celebration, but also mission-critical for recruitment and retention,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO.

Energage evaluates participating companies against the industry-leading benchmarks it has established from 16 years of research and data compiled from 27 million employees across more than 70,000 organizations. “Compensation and benefits” is one of several categories Top Workplaces USA considers for its Culture Excellence Awards.

Sargent & Lundy’s employees across the country participate in Energage’s annual engagement survey, which has resulted in the firm receiving 13 national and regional Top Workplace honors. The Chicago Tribune has recognized Sargent & Lundy as a Top Workplace each consecutive year since it first began participating in the survey in 2015. The Delaware News Journal has also recognized Sargent & Lundy as a Top Workplace each consecutive year since 2019. Additionally, the firm has been recognized as a Top Workplace in the U.S. twice since the national recognition was established in 2021.

Earning recognition as a Top Workplace is a compelling way to attract and retain new talent, build a positive reputation, and boost employee morale; however for Sargent & Lundy, the greatest benefit of the process is receiving and acting on employee feedback to make sure it cultivates a work community that aligns with its core values and allows its people to thrive.
