Delaware Top Workplaces - Sargent & Lundy

August 26, 2019 – Sargent & Lundy’s Delaware office has been awarded a 2019 Top Workplaces honor by The News Journal. The firm was ranked number 15 in the Midsize Employers category.

The honor is determined by feedback collected from anonymous employee surveys that measure several aspects of workplace culture. Most notably, Sargent & Lundy received its highest survey score in response to the statement, "there is good inter-departmental cooperation at Sargent & Lundy." Survey results also indicated employees feel the firm is heading in the right direction, operates by strong values, and encourages different points of view.

“This award means more than most because it’s a direct result of employee feedback,” said Chairman, President & CEO of Sargent & Lundy Tom White. “We owe this achievement to our dedicated team who continue to strengthen the culture that makes Sargent & Lundy a great place to work.”

Sargent & Lundy has also received the Top Workplaces honor for four consecutive years from The Chicago Tribune and has been named among America’s Best Midsize Employers by Forbes.

The third-party survey was administered by research partner Energage, LLC a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools.

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
