June 28, 2023 – Sargent & Lundy has been honored with a safety award by GPSA Midstream Suppliers, an association of companies engaged in meeting the supply and service needs of the midstream industry.
GPSA’s annual awards honor member companies with outstanding safety performance in the previous year and are based upon each company's OSHA records and three-year history of active programs promoting safety and displaying marked safety improvement.
“The importance of the safety of workers and the community is evident throughout the nationwide web of midstream suppliers and manufacturers,” said Joel Moxley, CEO of GPSA. “These annual awards recognize companies with exceptional records and a demonstrated commitment to safety.”
Personnel safety is a primary concern in Sargent & Lundy’s business operations and is integrated into all facets of work planning and execution in all office and field locations. In fact, the firm reached a milestone in 2022 by surpassing an entire year as an injury-free workplace. Over 4.5 million injury-free workhours were achieved due to sustained and active engagement of best safety practices from everyone across the firm. This accomplishment – along with the GPSA safety award – are testaments to the firm’s commitment to the highest standards of safety.
