November 3, 2023 – Sargent & Lundy is sponsoring the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Power and Energy Society’s Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Latin America conference Nov. 6-9 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Chairman, President, and CEO Victor Suchodolski will participate in a panel discussing renewable energy integration.

The four-day conference, whose theme is “Disaster Recovery and Network Transformation in Times of Climate Change,” will be attended by utility companies, energy professionals, and representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy. Attendees are invited to visit booth 6, where Sargent & Lundy’s electric grid infrastructure specialists and energy consultants look forward to connecting with other industry leaders.

Suchodolski’s panel, “Experiences and Challenges with Integrating Renewable Energy,” will take place Nov. 7 from 10:15-11:15 a.m. AST. He will discuss the firm’s experience integrating renewable energy into the electric grid, including large-scale projects, distributed energy resources, and virtual power plants.
