October 3, 2023 – Sargent & Lundy is hosting a booth and participating in a panel discussion at the Fifth Annual Conference on EV Charging Infrastructure U.S. hosted by Global Transmission Report in New York City on October 4- 5.
The two-day event will be attended by electric utility companies; transportation companies; federal, state, and local government representatives; and electric vehicle vendors, electric vehicle charging infrastructure vendors, electric vehicle network software developers, contractors, and other consultants to discuss efforts to meet zero-emission vehicle targets.
“This is a great opportunity to showcase Sargent & Lundy’s expertise, services, and solutions in developing vehicle-to-grid and solar integration with fleet electrification projects,” said Kalpesh Chaudhari, Ph.D., head of Sargent & Lundy’s e-mobility and analytics business.
Chaudhari will be joined by Sargent & Lundy's Alexander Coologeorgen in moderating a panel discussion on vehicle-to-grid opportunities along with representatives from the New York State Energy Research Development Authority and the New York City Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice.
Chaudhari will discuss how fleet operators can use solar and vehicle-to-grid technology without disrupting their existing operation and while increasing their revenue. He will also discuss how these vehicle-to-grid and solar integrations will benefit disadvantaged communities across the U.S. if strategically deployed.
