Assessment of Existing Equipment when Converting to Natural Gas Firing

It is strongly encouraged to maintain records of these monthly inspections to assess degradation and any modifications made to the equipment. This will help facilitate any inquiries to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) on replacement parts and any upgrades required in the event either unit cofires coal in the future. Special attention should be given to dry rot, moisture, and corrosion.
